This photo is one of my favourites from the set, the abstract and quite alien look to it. I also like the contrast between the dark background and the light skull, making the skull the only focus of the picture. I really enjoyed doing this style of photo and intend do do it in my next project too.

I really like the lighting on this picture, and the way the background is still visible. I like the way only one side of the spine is lit with the light, the other side is dark, but still there. It gives the photo quite a distorted effect.

This picture and the one below are of a similar concept, but a different skull is used. I like both of them as they are both very naturally coloured with a certain part of the skull darkened and fading into the black, blending in and giving them both quite a natural appearance. I've also found out that skulls are very good for low key photography.

With this photo, I attempted to use another, lighter background, enhancing the shadowed parts. I really like the atmosphere in this picture, as it looks more like it was taken in an abandoned old area than in a photography studio, its very expressive with the blue lighting.
